Description

This Indian heat shield with alligator embossed leather is made of beautiful buffed Bridle leather.  It has a ply of split leather (Suede) on the bottom, so nothing can scratch your motorcycle. We stitch the antique white alligator embossed leather on top. All layers are glued together with industrial cement and double stitched around the edges.

This heat shield is available in black or tan with black or white stitching, and you have an option to add stainless steel studs to it.

In order to install the Indian heat shield with alligator embossed leather you remove your seat, put the seat guides through the cut out on the heat shield and tighten your seat back down. Pretty simple. (You may have to modify a little by cutting the leather under the seat, if you have a Corbin seat)

Over time the leather molds nicely around the frame of your bike like it has always been there.

The care for your leather is very important as it can curl when it dries out. Treat is like your best pair or shoes with a leather conditioner that contains beeswax like “Aussie” or “Skidmore” from Fiebing. The beeswax will repel water and protect from the sun rays. Keep a close eye on the leather and give it the TLC that it needs according to the climate you live in.

I can’t say enough about my crotch cooler! It was easy to install, looks amazing on my Roadmaster and most importantly, it WORKS! It made a huge reduction in the amount of heat felt coming off the right side of the engine. I absolutely recommend these.
